Revelation does not begin with beasts, bowls, or battles. It begins with Jesus. Jesus is standing among the lampstands, which represent the churches. That means Jesus is not distant from His Church. He is

present. He sees. He knows. He speaks. The Church belongs to Jesus. Church of the Lakes belongs to Jesus. Our lives belong to Jesus. Vision does not begin with our plans. Vision begins with His presence.
