“While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said…”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
The early church received direction in an atmosphere of worship and fasting. They did not simply brainstorm their way into mission. They worshiped. They fasted. They listened. Then they obeyed. Vision Sunday reminded us that our church has a mission:
• Know God.
• Find Freedom.
But we cannot fulfill a spiritual mission in human strength. We need the direction of the Holy Spirit.
