SURRENDER CONTROL
PROVERBS 3:5–6 NIV
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
To yield means to surrender the right of way. Many of us want God’s blessing without yielding control. We want His guidance, but we still want to hold the steering wheel. Prayer and fasting confront our need for control. The Signs of the Times remind us that we are not in charge of history. God is. Our role is not
control. Our role is obedience.
