In the beginning… there was nothing. Then, in a declaration that shook eternity—God said, “Let there be light.” Before time began, a story was written… A story of creation and chaos, of covenants and kings, off exiles and redeemers, of battles—both seen and unseen. Across the pages of Scripture, woven through a hundred generations, One narrative emerges—GRAND in scope, eternal in significance. This is not just ancient history. This is not just a book. This… is the heart of God moving through every page, every person, every promise. From Genesis to Revelation, The Grand Narrative is our story— A journey from darkness to light, from brokenness to restoration, From the garden… to the grave… to glory.

Epoch 1 (Creation & Covenant)
In this five-week series, we explore the beginning of God’s redemptive story in Genesis and how it all points to Jesus. From humanity’s fall in the garden to God’s covenant with Abraham, we’ll see His unwavering love and faithfulness on display. Each moment reveals more of God's character and His plan to rescue and restore through Christ. Even in our brokenness, God is writing a greater story of grace. Join us as we discover how the first pages of Scripture lead us to Jesus and invite us into His story.
Epoch 2 (Laws & Blessings)
In this second part of our series, we trace how God continued shaping His people through laws that revealed His heart and blessings that pointed to His mercy. From the giving of the Ten Commandments to the wilderness journey of Israel, we’ll see how God teaches us to love Him and love others. Even in their failures, God remained faithful—and every step pointed forward to Jesus. This season in the story invites us to trust God's power, follow Him with courage, and receive His grace.
Epoch 3 (Rebellion & Judges)
Epoch 3 of The Grand Narrative continues the journey through Israel’s rich and dramatic history, from crossing the Jordan River into the Promised Land to the era of the judges—leaders like Deborah, Gideon, and Samson. These stories aren’t just ancient events; they shape how we live today. In this series, we remember God’s faithfulness through every challenge, celebrate His greatness, and take to heart His call to righteousness. As we explore these incredible examples of courage, worship, and obedience, we discover that God’s promises and purposes are for us, too.
Epoch 4 (The Kings)
Journey with us through The Kings—an epic season in God’s story where faith and failure walk hand in hand. From Samuel’s prayers to David’s triumphs and struggles, and the rise of Solomon, we’ll discover timeless truths: God hears our prayers, sees our hearts, strengthens us in our fears, calls us to mercy, and forgives our mistakes. This epoch teaches us that no matter our strengths or failures, God desires our hearts and invites us to trust in His justice and mercy.

Epoch 5 (The Messiah)
Epoch 5 of The Grand Narrative marks the arrival of Jesus, God's promised Messiah, revealing the depth of God’s love and faithfulness. Through prophetic visions, angelic announcements, humble shepherds, and devoted witnesses like Simeon and Anna, we encounter the fulfillment of ancient promises. In this epoch, we see Jesus as the suffering servant who “bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness” (1 Peter 2:24, NIV). Journey through Isaiah’s vision of cleansing grace, the angel’s message of miraculous birth, the shepherds’ proclamation of joy, and the recognition of the Messiah by faithful hearts. Epoch 5 teaches us that Jesus is the ultimate gift—bringing hope, forgiveness, and new life to all who believe, and calling us to share that gift with the world.

Epoch 6 (The Healer)
In Epoch 6: The Healer, we explore the life-changing moments when Jesus reveals His power to forgive, heal, and restore. Throughout this epoch, we witness Jesus freeing the paralyzed, dining with sinners, and offering radical forgiveness—even to those the world rejects. As we study stories from the Gospels—including the healing of the paralytic (Mark 2:1-12), the call of Matthew (Matthew 9:9-13), the parable of the unforgiving servant (Matthew 18:21-35), and the woman caught in adultery (John 8:1-11)—we learn that Jesus does not look down on us for our failures. Instead, He invites us to come to Him with our burdens and sins, receive His grace, and extend that same forgiveness to others. This epoch teaches us that no matter our past, we can experience freedom, healing, and a renewed purpose in following Jesus, the ultimate Healer.
