SEARCH MY HEART
PSALM 139:23–24 NIV
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
Spiritual readiness begins with honesty. David did not say, “God, search everyone else.”
He said, “Search me.”
It is easy to see what is wrong in the world. It is harder to let God reveal what is unhealthy in us. A church that wants to discern the times must first become a people who invite God to search their hearts.
PRAYER FOCUS
Lord, reveal anything in me that needs confession, healing, or surrender.
FASTING FOCUS
Fast from God correct defensiveness. Let you without making excuses.
