THE THRONE ABOVE THE CHAOS
REVELATION 4:2 NIV “At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it.”
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT
Revelation lifts our eyes. Before John sees chaos on the earth, he sees a throne in heaven. That matters. The world may feel unstable, but heaven is not nervous. God is not pacing. God is not reacting. God is reigning. Prayer and fasting remind us that our confidence is not in earthly systems. Our confidence is in the King who sits on the throne.
