Anchored Soul

The birth of Jesus in Luke 2:9-19 is a reminder that a holy moment isn’t about perfection but about what we treasure and think about. Mary, a young girl in challenging and messy circumstances, chose to treasure and ponder the significance of what God was doing rather than the imperfection of the setting. Similarly, hope in God acts as an anchor for the soul (Hebrews 6:19), providing strength, peace, and perspective through life’s storms. To stay anchored, we must prioritize God’s presence, stand on His promises, trust His process, seek His purpose, and look forward to His eternal place for us—focusing on what is eternal over the temporary.
